Oct 20, 2013 · Featuring all the same low/forward centre of gravity benefits of the driver, the fairway wood doesn't feature the sliding weight technology but does promise more distance. Where the SLDR driver allowed golfers to slide a 20 gram weight on the sole, behind the face, the SLDR fairway features a newly designed cut-through Speed Pocket.
TaylorMade Men's SLDR 5 is a popular option on the higher end of the price range. It's in the top 3 bestselling fairway woods and has dozens of popular alternatives in the same price range, such as TaylorMade R11 or TaylorMade SLDR 3. TaylorMade Men's SLDR 5 is $10 more expensive than the average fairway wood ($129.99).
Mar 10, 2014 · IMO the SLDR Fairway is a completely different club than the RBZ line. I think it is MUCH easier to hit off the turf than the RBZ lines. I can hit the 3HL SLDR off the deck without much problem at all while even the RBZ 5 wood was a chore for me to get up in the air.

Taylormade SLDR TP Fairway Wood . Adjustment Tool NOT INCLUDED. SLDR fairways woods and Rescue clubs combine two of TaylorMade’s most recent innovations: Speed Pocket technology and an exceptionally low-and-forward center of gravity (CG) location.. Apr 04, 2014 · The SLDR fairway and rescue, like the driver, are a more conservative (and pleasing to my eye) charcoal gray. The dark gray Fujikura Speeder shafts complement the clubhead, nicely. Though, I have rarely thought this recently about TaylorMade clubs, I think these look very sharp and all business.
